Cajun Chicken
Cajun is a flavor in its own class. It combines French, West African, Native American and Spanish styles of cooking. Its spicy, yet not hot. Its rustic, robust and packed with flavor. If you’ve never tried Cajun Chicken, you gotta kick up your yard bird game and try this classic recipe!
Here’s what you need:
1 cups vegetable oil
1 tablespoons Bo B Q Cajun Seasoning
1 tablespoons dried Italian seasoning
1 tablespoons lemon pepper
5 chicken breast (pounded out to about 3/8-1/2 inch think)
Directions:
1. In a gallon size freezer bag, combine the oil, Cajun, Italian seasoning and lemon pepper. Seal the bag and swirl contents around until well blended.
2. Place the chicken in the bag. Seal and message the bag until the chicken is well coated.
3. Remove the air from the bag and place in the fridge for 30-45 minutes.
4. Now while the chicken is chillin’, lets head out to the grill and fire that thing up! We’re looking for a high heat.
5. After the chicken is done marinating, we wanna remove the chicken breasts from the bag and place them on the preheated and well-oiled grill grate.
6. We wanna cook the chicken for about 5 to 7 minutes on each side (or until juices run clear).
7. Remove the chicken from the grill and serve with rice, roasted potatos or even corn on the cob!
